Who is He Sijing?
Born in Tangqi Town on December 20, 1896, he is an outstanding rural sage in Yuhang.He devoted his whole life to legal and philosophical research, teaching and translation. He helped draft the Common Program of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and was one of the important drafters of China's first constitution. Mao Zedong once called Mr. He Sijing "a man with a sense of justice, courage and knowledge" and "the first-class jurist in the country".
When He Sijing was 13 years old, he went to Shanghai. After years of study, He Sijing, who was diligent, studious and gifted, mastered the four languages of Japan, Germany, English and France.
In May 1932, He Sijing joined the Chinese Communist Party. Arriving in Yan 'an, the holy place of revolution, in 1938, Mao Zedong personally presided over a meeting of more than 4,000 people to welcome Professor He Sijing under Baota shan. Commissioned by Mao Zedong, He Sijing translated Clausewitz's "On War" and gave lectures to Mao Zedong and his senior generals two nights a week, providing strong support for Mao Zedong's writing "On Protracted War".
During the War of Liberation, He Sijing served as deputy head of the Law Group of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and a member of the seven-member Central Law Committee. In March 1948, he was appointed to draft the Common Program of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and to prepare for the drafting of the first constitution of the People's Republic of China.
Since the founding of New China, He Sijing has served as a professor of law at Peking University, a professor and head of the department of law and philosophy at Renmin University of China, and a member of the Central Law Committee.
He Sijing spent his whole life wandering in the fields of Marxism, philosophy, economics and law. His works and translations are fruitful. It has left a rich spiritual wealth for Chinese academia.
He Sijing's contribution and achievement to the Red Law is his great contribution to the historical process. Through in-depth excavation of He Sijing, the most famous red jurist in modern Chinese history, the historical story of selfless patriotism, death and death, and its former residence in Shuinan, a cultural landscape resource, He Sijing Memorial Hall will become a new landmark of red culture integrating patriotic education, cultural tourism and cultural experience.

Is there anything in the He Sijing Memorial Hall?
In the layout of the exhibition area, the memorial hall was reconstructed from the old residence in He Sijing. The exhibition area is about 200 square meters. It is divided into three sections and seven units. It not only gives a complete account of Mr. He Sijing's untiring struggle in hard times, but also shows his dribs and drabs in daily life. It shows his spirit of ambition, perseverance, hard work and dedication. It provides a reference for contemporary people to witness the life of this famous philosopher, jurist and translator of Marxist works from Yuhang who is committed to revolution, patriotic dedication and serves the people wholeheartedly.
In the collection of historical materials, the memorial hall displays He Sijing's life introduction, writings, memorial service materials, correspondence during his lifetime and photos of Mr. He Sijing's life, tapes of comrade Hantov, He Jianwen, He Liwen and other comrades talking about Mr. He Sijing, magnetic disks such as materials on the compilation of He Sijing, and video materials of He Liliang recalling his father.The museum is equipped with modern exhibition equipment such as electronic touch screens and electronic photo albums, which continuously promote Mr. He Sijing's revolutionary career.
