Tangqi is located in the northern part of Hangzhou, about 20km from the center of the city and 13km from Linping, where the district government is located. In response to the canal, Hangzhou has been the gateway to water for all dynasties. Tangqi has a long history. it was founded in the northern song dynasty. since the yuan dynasty, merchants gathered and became a big town. during the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was the richest town in the south of the Yangtze river. Mr feng Zikai, a famous literary master, once said of Tangqi: "Tangqi is one of the representatives of the beautiful places in the south of the Yangtze river."Tangqi land is fertile, abundant in rainfall and rich in products. It is suitable for vegetable and fruit cultivation in Sang Ma and is the base of vegetables and fruits in Hangzhou.
